Special School Levy Election Proposition K.I.D.S. (Keep Improving District Schools

Shall the Board of Education of the Morgan County R-I School District, Missouri, be authorized to increase the operating tax levy ceiling of the District to $3.43 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation in order to retain qualified staff, maintain its facilities and meet the operating expenses of the District? (If this proposition is approved, the adjusted operating levy of the District is estimated to increase from $2.75, currently, to $3.43 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation in Tax Year 2014 and thereafter.)

Special School Bond Election Proposition 2

Shall the Board of Education of the Cole Camp R-I School District of Benton County, Missouri, without an estimated increase in the current debt service property tax levy, borrow money in the amount of Three Million Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($3,250,000) for the purpose of providing funds to complete energy efficiency improvements including heating, ventilation and air conditioning system upgrades and window replacements; to complete safety and security system enhancements; complete other remodeling, renovation and repair improvements to the existing facilities and properties of the District to the extent funds are available; and issue bonds for the payment thereof? If this proposition is approved, the adjusted debt service levy of the School District is estimated to remain unchanged at $0.5173 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of real and personal property.

Question

Shall the Warsaw RIX School District of Benton County, Missouri issue its general obligation bonds in the amount of $8,000,000 for the purpose of constructing, improving, furnishing and equipping school facilities, including safety and securities improvements at all school facilities, construction of a gymnasium to meet FEMA saferoom standards for the High School and Middle School, renovating the existing gymnasium to serve as a performing arts center, and enlarging the cafeteria and kitchen area at the South Elementary School? If this question is approved, the District's debt service tax levy is estimated to increase by $0.30 from $0.45 to $0.75 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of real and personal property.
