Responsibilities

• Prepares and mails personal property and real estate tax bills
• Collection and distribution of personal property and real estate for Benton County, as well as the cities of Warsaw, Lincoln, Cole Camp, and Ionia
• Provides duplicate paid tax receipts
• Issues county merchant's licenses
• Conducts annual tax sales for real estate having two years delinquent tax, more information can be seen on the Delinquent Tax Certificate Sale website.
